How long have you been teaching? 10 years

What is your favourite part about teaching? Without sounding cliche, my favourite part about teaching is when the student's light bulb lights up and they get it! It's so rewarding knowing you are making a difference in someone's life!

What is your best advice for a beginning teacher? My best advice for a beginning teacher is to take time to breathe. So often we take on more than we need to and feel overwhelmed with all of our tasks. As a new teacher, we want to make everything incredible. It's just not possible. There will always be a list of things to do, and it's important to take time each week to recuperate! It's absolutely critical!
