I created this Canada social studies unit to use with Grade 2 and Grade 3. I used parts of it in my third grade class and my colleague used the rest with her second graders. There are so many different ways to mix and match the worksheets and templates to create a foldable lapbook.

This Community Workers interview project is one of my all-time favourites to use with Grade 2.  My students built a town out of papier mache milk cartons and took on the role of a community worker. Inside this packet you will find interview and report templates, presentation rubrics, and self, peer, and teacher evaluations.

This Current Events packet is one I am currently using with my fifth grade class. We've been doing weekly current events presentations, and my students love receiving the All-Star Reporter awards. This packet includes everything you need to get started!
