This week's featured teacher is Desiree of Reading with Mrs. D.

How long have you been teaching? Less than five years

What grade levels have you taught? 1, 2, and 3

What is your favourite part about teaching? Seeing my kids explore and get that aha moment. I love when reading FINALLY clicks.

What is your best advice for a beginning teacher? Write down the funny things your kids do and say so you'll remember them when you have hard days, and you WILL have hard days when nothing goes right, but the next day is always a fresh start!
